Thank-you for considering us!

It frequently costs more than $100,000 for a parent victimized by the abduction of their child to pursue their child’s return. This includes direct legal costs in several countries, translation, legalization, travel expenses, and more. At the same time, the parent is suffering a profound traumatic loss and this often impacts their ability to work.

Return Our Children Home Canada does not currently raise money to support individual parents in pursuit of their cases. The magnitude of this problem is too large for us to solve. Our Calls to Action include a call for the Canadian government to establish co-funding opportunities to reduce the prohibitive cost and inequity of these cases, which is a profound impediment to access to justice.

We operate on as close to a zero budget as possible and raise funds for specific purposes when it is required. Our goal is to ensure that working within our community to advocate for change does not come at an additional cost to parents.

Current Donation Drives

We are reducing our dependence on crowdfunding to decrease the burden on parents of abducted children and their friends and families. We are seeking grants and travel bursaries from organizational sponsors. If you are able to help, please contact us. We make every dollar count where it is most needed.

Charitable Donation Receipts

Return Our Children Home Canada is an “unincorporated association” — a group of parents of abducted children without a formal incorporation. Unfortunately this means that we cannot give charitable receipts.
